frequently asked questions
I have forgotten something in my order, can I add another product?
yes you can add more items to a order you have already placed. If you haven't received a fulfilment status email from us you can send us a email and we can give you instructions on how to add to your order.
please note that if you add products that are bigger I.e Glitterglobe Elixir 1 litre bottles, and require a larger box, there may be a extra charge required to cover the extra shipping costs.
I have used Glitterglobe Elixir and am struggling with air bubbles/micro bubbles, how can I fix this?
No worries at all about the air bubbles. You can use 91% isopropyl alcohol to pop them, simply add a small amount and shake the bottom of the tumbler gently to pop the bubbles, I personally use a little spray bottle and spray a few times.
Isopropyl alcohol can be found at Mitre 10 or Bunnings warehouse.
A metal tip syringe is best to use to get the last of the air bubble's out you and can top up the tumbler with more solution to fill the gap.
Can I use fine glitter with Glitterglobe elixir or Elixir tears?
yes you absolutely can! We suggest to use chunky mix glitters with any of the Elixir range as they do work best but fine can be used also. We suggest to use a bit of isopropyl alcohol mixed with glitter BEFORE adding to the snowglobe tumbler, this will help minimise any clumping as fine/ultra fine glitters are known for clumping with snowglobe solutions.
If you do not want fine glitter in your snowglobe tumbler you can simply use a tea strainer to siv out any fine glitter and use that fine glitter for another craft project.
Do you offer wholesale for Glitterglobe Elixir? If so, how can I place a wholesale order?
Yes! We offer wholesale. Wholesale for Glitterglobe Elixir comes in 250ml bottles and Elixir Tears part one 125ml bottles, Elixir Tears part two is 250ml bottles. Simply send me a message and we discus which flows you like or which colours you would like as we offer a range of different styles to achieve different style results 🤩
What solution do use? What is your ratio? How come you don’t share this information?
I often receive messages or comments on social media posts asking what my solution is and what my ratios are, I do not share this information and here’s why:
It has taken MONTHS of research, hours and hours of trial and error to find my perfect flows to meet the quality standards I wanted to be able to provide fail proof solutions. Out of respect for the time and efforts I have put in towards my craft and to protect the foundation of my business, I will not disclose my ingredients OR ratio details, wether you are a customer, follower or friend.
If you are wanting to start a tumbler business I am more then happy to help where I can but disclosing my ingredients and ratios is a big no no. I suggest to do a lot of research first as there is so much information available already, like how to actually make a snowglobe tumbler etc. There are also places now that offer starter kits which has EVERYTHING you need to make a tumbler to see if it really is for you. We recommend The Glitter Vault NZ or DreamhavenKreations nz for starter kits, our solutions are also featured in their kits.
